Newsbin 6 suddenly decided to stop working...

Whatever version of Newsbin 6 I was previously using was working fine and today it decided it didn't want to download. I queued up a few nzb's and it just sites there, 0 Kbps/0 KBps with Connections (0).

I queued up more files and it's still sitting there, it doesn't want to download.

I upgraded to the latest Newsbin Pro 6.40 - Build: 2059.

I went into the data folder and the temp folder is empty and deleted any files in there that started with download because sometimes that helped me navigate around program bugs in the past but this time it didn't have an effect...

The logging tab is basically the usual messages...
[18:36:07] DEBUG - High Speed File Creation Mode: Enabled
[18:36:07] HIGH - PAR Pausing: Enabled
[18:36:07] HIGH - Par2Repair - Multi-core 1.3

And thats it.

How can I make the program work again? Thanks in advance.

If you expand a post in the download queue, any action in there, for example any of the little chunks light up? Also, check the connection tab(might be hidden), and check the status of your connections. Wondering if you accidentally disabled your primary server. Make sure your server isn't a 'use only if not found on other servers' setting.

Yeah, I wonder if your server is even listed any more.

... wow, you guys were right on, thanks! I would never have thought of that.

Hopefully whatever caused the program to automatically delete my servers was corrected throughout updates. Thanks again!

Typically what happens is a crash takes out the configuration file. Either windows or Newsbin.

If you look in the options menu, there's an option called "Load backup config on restart". If you click it and restart right when this happens. when Newsbin starts it'll let you pickup a backup copy of the configuration file it has stored.
