using the search when there are numbers in the query

so, I've noticed that when I use the NB Search tab for searching local or internet, if the query has numbers in it, the search always fails. clearly I do not understand how to properly frame the query when there are numbers.

for example, a search on "fr3qu3ncy" as in the movie, the search will fail every time. is there a proper way to search like that when the query includes numbers?

Can you give me other examples? I did a manual search for this and it isn't in our database at all spelled like that. You can quote a single word or exact phrase to do an exact match through Internet Search, i.e. "fr3qu3ncy" to bypass boolean searching and do a straight match.

well, that's the example I used because I figured there was no way it wasn't in your database! ;-) I was only searching that way because that was the way the movie was titled, I thought...

thanks for the tip about the quotes.
