Possible UNRAR Path issue

I just upgraded from 6.40B7 to 6.40 Build 2059 and my UNRAR path stopped working.
To be a bit more specific I am using $(NZBFILE) to name my Download folder and my UNRAR Folder, just in two seperate locations.
D:\Downloads\$(NZBFILE) for my download folder and G:\$(NZBFILE) for my UNRAR Folder. It's still creating the Download Folder but not the UNRAR Folder anymore. It's just UNRARing to the path without creating the folder. This was working fine in 6.40B7 and all I did was upgrade without changing any settings.
For what it's worth I really like the new folder naming options in 6.40 and appreciate all the hard work you've done on Newsbin. Great Job!!

Are these files that were already in the download list when you upgraded or new files?

New files were doing this. I make sure my lists are cleared before updating to a new version, at least I usually try to.
I went into the edit, clicked the refresh, then cleared the $(NZBFILE) option and then added it back and it's working now. I didn't check to see if the refresh did the trick before clearing and resetting though.

Most people who get hit by this, the issue is new files versus files you added after the change. Glad it's working for you now.

I'm not sure whether it's ok to resurrect this thread or if I'm supposed to start a new one, but I'll give this a shot.
I have the same issue, but it works fine for files added to watch folder, just not for nzbs added by double-clicking. While writing this post I noticed that a backslash had been added to the end of the path definition for the watch folder download and unrar, but the same did not get added no matter how many times I attempted to remove and re-add $(NZBFILE) to the basic download/unrar screen.
I added it manually, and the "Sample:" label updated to show "NZB Filename\" at the end, whereas prior to that it was stuck showing the root. Seems to be a bug in the settings window to me.
I'm in the middle of a huge download queue now so I haven't been able to test yet, but I feel confident enough that this has sorted my issue that I'll post this now instead of forgetting to do it later.

Version 6.41B4 (2120)
My bad, I had that in the post I originally wrote but forgot to add it back in when I rewrote it. As it moved down the download list, by the way, it start using the folders so this definitely did solve it for me.

After downloading and installing 6.41 Beta 4, Newsbin won't unRAR to my NAS, as it usually does.
It unRARs to C:\Program Files\Newsbin\NETGEAR_NAS\media\ instead of
\\NETGEAR_NAS\media\ on the network.
Of course, I tried to specify the correct unRAR path in Options, but Newsbin
apparently couldn't unRAR to a network drive.
I re-installed the older version, then it all worked as usual. What gives?

If you mount the drive as a drive letter it'll work. I agree that it's a bug. Newsbin is looking for a drive letter in the UNC path and with NAS boxes there isn't one.
\\NAS\Z\Path - Works
\\NAS\Path - Don't.
