Help with "Error: Response: 420 No Articles Selected" error

Hi,
New here, all that jazz. I've been using NBPro for a long time and suddenly came upon this problem and am looking for some help. I upgraded to the newest release 6.40, and suddenly began having errors returned on only a few random groups [full disclosure: upgraded to 6.4, has this error, peeled back to 5.59 build 9826, resulting in same issue]. The error message I received is:
[00:19:52] Level: ERROR SERVER=news.newshosting.com, MSG=Server: news.newshosting.com SendCommand - Error: Response: 420 No Articles Selected
What does this error mean? I can't figure out why it is showing up. I tried to do research some to see if I could figure it out, but to no avail. I know for a fact this group I'm pulling up headers for is around because I can pull up to-the-minute data from them via the Newshosting free reader. I've not run into this problem pulling info down before, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Additional possibly relevant info: using SSL connection, all default settings.
