How long should "Import Version 5.XX Headers" take?

I finally upgraded hard drive and installed 6.34. I had 5.59 with 101 groups showing. Should it really take more than 24 hours to "Import Version 5.XX Headers"? This seems like it will take forever. It's only up to 88 of 101. I'm wondering if something is wrong. Does it mess up the import process if headers are set to automatically update? Not that it matters since I can't get behind the import window. My old SPOOL_V1 was 51GB, and the new SPOOL_V6 is at 46.7GB. Don't really want to kill the process, but I'd like to get back to using the system.

Depends on how many gigabytes you're talking about and how fast your PC is.

Dex and I recommend trying a group or two and if it's taking too long, just re-download. The other options is just ignore the old headers, download 30 days worth with 6 and then let the retention build as time passes.

I just had to re-download 2 groups because of a corrupt DB. One group had over 1 billion posts in it. Even at 200 Mbps (from giga with header compression) it took all night.
