I want to filter small posts from the groups for better view. Formerly there was a file size filter (with the filters created under Options | Filters). Then those small posts were hidden. I know it is possible to enable a filter in the properties of a group or folder, but that does not hide them.
Will it come back in future?

You see the button far left on the post list toolbar? Click it to open up the filters.
