FIOS install now N/B is failing

Hi.
I've been using Newsbin for years with Verizon DSL. No big problems. This week I upgraded to FIOS and now there is a problem.
D/L headers and posts sometimes takes a very long time. Using V. 6.34 Build 1886. The log says:

Eventually I get everything that I want but the delays are completely negating having the FIOS at 75Mbps. Any thoughts?

Disable XFeatures in the server options then restart Newsbin. Only Giganews and Astraweb have implemented XFeatures 100%.

Lets see if that solves it. The specific error you're showing here is a header download issue so, that's why I suspect XFeatures.

Thanks. Xfeatures shows as being disabled. As far as I know it always has been. And I am using Easynews. Any other thoughts?

You have to check it to disable it. The default it enabled.

I don't know then. Something is happening to the connection making it go out of sync. I'd make any V scanner or firewall ignore the traffic Newsbin is receiving from the server.

interesting happening. i changed the connections from 10 to 5 and things seem to be working a lot better. no lags or waits. hopefully it will stay that way. i'll let you know.

I spent the day changing to a different SSL library. I'm going to put a beta out with the new provider and see if that makes any difference for people.
