How do I get my default filters (m3, multimedia, photo, books) etc, back? They have gone from my 6.40B7

Easiest way is to probably make you own.
Just keep in mind
1 - Subject Filters apply before download (so they're faster).
2 - File filters apply after download.
3 - Syntax for a file extension is "[.]ext" without the quotes.
Say you want to reject ".sfv" files. In the "subject Reject" add "[.]sfv"
Options, filters is how you add new filter blocks.

http://www.newsbin.com/downloads/filters.db3There's a link to the default filters file, however I'm not 100% this is the latest and greatest. Be cautious if you've already started making new ones, rename the existing when newsbin isn't running and replace it with this, and see if that works. This file lives in the data folder, which you can find in the options, there's a button to open it.
