assemble problems

Hi,
Am using NB 6.40B5 Build 1971(64bit) with Giganews. Running 2 servers with 2 connections on each.

Having assemble issues on multiple files...getting 430 errors on odd block here and there in odd part in a post. E.g 4 parts in 27 part file are still in NB2 format. The download lists shows 1 red block in each(430 reported) and status shows downloading. Have left the file for over an hour after completetion(start next file in list) and even after 5 retires(what i have set to to options) all the failed parts still show as downloading and so AutoPar isnt able to "do its thing". Restarting NB sometimes helps. Or manually assembling. BTW Autopar is on. Aggressive assembly mode is off. Retries set to 5 (have tried setting this 1 to 100 seams to make no difference) BTW have tried aggressive mode on makes no diff

The number of retries determines how long it'll wait before it assembles the file. I use 2 retries here. It's like 2 minutes or so. The more retries you have, the longer you wait till Newsbin decides to assemble the file.

You can always force it to assemble as long as the block is red. Right click "Assemble Incompletes".

Not sure I made myself clear. The files arent auto assembling,even after hours of sitting there. Have a file doing this as i type. File has downloaded hours ago, status reports all files downloaded, but 2 parts are still in NB2 format. Log shows :-

1) more than 1 par and al the current files have been procssed
2) Current files have been processed - Parchunks > nmissing chunks, assemble lets par take over
3) Downloading Files - Duplicate Insert to download list...

NB is not assembling the even if right click them now. If I restart NB it will retry the failed parts and if i then right click it will assemble

let m eknow if u need the file NZB sending

ok restarted NB the failed parts wjhere all downloaded again(still red blocks) but this time they assemble and the repair kicked in...this is what usually happens
