How to filter sample files and .sfv files

Is it possible to filter out the pesky sample files and .sfv files that come with most NZB files? For now, I manually delete them from the download list which is a pain. I read somewhere that one should use "sample.*sample" (without the apostrophe). However, that is not working. I run Newzbin built 6.34. Thanks.

For sample files, I just put a filter that rejects all posts with the subjects sample. (See options/filters).
In the newsbin options for the NZB and AutoPar Options, you can use these filters you've created, to either reject certain files when loading directly from a nzb and/or after an extraction.

http://help.newsbin.com/index.php/V600- ... t_Filter_2 RE: how to use for sfv. Be sure to read the filename filter reject section, or you could lose quite a bit if you're not careful.

I am still battling to set filters to avoid downloading sample files. (I have managed to filter out unwanted files during the unrar process). However, I want Newsbin to avoid downloading sample files with the other files. Can someone please take me step by step through the process. I tried as follows: Under the filter option, I created a new filter with the name "Sample". Then under filename reject, I added "sample". Then I go under Options/Nzb files/Nzb loading filter and select "sample" from the dropbox. However, Newsbin still download the sample files. What am I doing wrong?

I'd try it in the Subject Reject section. Filenames aren't even known till the file starts downloading.
