incompletes

I upgraded my computer from 32bit XP to 64 Bit Windows 7 so i upgraded my Newsbin program to the 64-bit Version 6 build 1832. Since then, there have been an unusually large amount of incompletes - to the point where there aren't enough Pars to fix the rar set. When i was on the old progarm, i hardly ever had that problem. I am using the same server - Giganews. Does anyone else have that problem? Is there a fix?

No reason why the fact you have gone 64-bit should cause a problem.

The most likely culprit is your anti-virus software. Many variants of AV software treat NNTP ports as if they were email and end up corrupting data. If you can, tell your AV software to ignore NNTP traffic from its checks.

How many connections are you using? If you're running the max, say 50. I'd try 20 instead. Fewer connections tends to be more reliable and the download speed tends to be the same as many connections.

I'm only using 8 connections, but the AV is definitely a possibility. When i got the new PC, it came with a trial version of Norton Internet Security which i've been using. I uninstalled it and I'm reinstalling NOD32 (my old AV software) and i'll see if that makes a difference.
