Installation download problems with proxy

I am installing Newsbin 6.31 on my computer at work. When the installation routine establishes an internet connection and begins to attempt to download "newsbinpro.exe" it immediately fails with
HTTP/1.1 407 Proxy Authentication Required
Is the installation routine trying to use a non-standard port or something to retrieve the download file from the website? Can I acquire the file newsbinpro.exe from somewhere to bypass this problem?

That would be your work using a proxy server, you'll need to talk to them to get around this. I suspect, however, once you indicate the program you're trying to validate is one designed to download massive amounts of binaries, the answer will be "forget it". There's always ways to work around this stuff, depending on how elaborate they've set things up, but the message I take away is that it's not a good idea, assuming you like your job.

Dex should be able to install a full installer too. I'll point him to this topic.
