setting up new computer and can't seem to figure out how to use configuration file from old computer to make Newsbin Pro on new computer look and act like it does on this one. Tried putting copy of configuration file (NewsBin.nbi) in Newsbin data folder on new computer, but doesn't seem to change anything, or at least the stuff I am hoping to change, exact layout, servers, behavior...
EDIT: just occurred to me to mention old install 32 bit, new 64 bit (both win 7)

- Install Newsbin.
- Run it once.
- Exit.
- Double-click the NBI you want it to use.
The double click is the only essential part. The rest is just to clear the deck.

should it make new install EXACTLY like old one? If so, I am still doing something wrong, because not even close
EDIT: it did bring some stuff in, but was hoping for an exact duplication of all settings and layout choices. Hope you could possibly bring that in future edition as I find it hard to duplicate my layout choices and preferences.
thanks

Open the .nbi with a text editor and under [Settings] search for DataPath=
and add the right location.
ps: edit the .nbi only when newsbin is closed and make a backup of the nbi before editing it.

There are full instructions on how to move the DATA folder in the Advanced section of the User Guide.
