Tabs Missing, not showing up when *checked*..

Hey NewsBin Support,

I was arranging my windows and tabs, and stumbled into what seems to be a lil bug.
When I clicked in NewsBin Pro 6.30 Build 1832 on the "view" dropdown menu, I checked most windows/tabs but most don't show up.
Even though they are showing up as checked.
Could it be that the windows don't get pushed to the highest window layer if checked.
Since I suspect these missing windows/tabs are hiding behind the search window/tab.
This could be fixed by making it possible to uncheck them in view also.
This isn't possible right now to uncheck them you got actually close the tab instead of uncheck the window/tab in "view" dropdown menu.
But since the windows/tabs don't show up there is no way to make close them and open them again.
Maybe its just me and there is a easy fix for this.
In that case I apologize, I did search the forum though no hits on the matter.

..

Also I like to point out that the search window has the options to make it floating, hide, auto hide, and dockable.
As in NewsBin 6.30 1832 there is no way to make use of these options.
It would be great to have this window/tab lose as all the others are.
It might even solve the window/tabs not showing up problem.

Thanks for your time, effort and your through the roof product.
Rock On!!

Sincerely,
Solar

I'm wondering if you have, say, 3 areas open that can hold the various panes, but you've scrolled the divider over so far it's hidden one of them. Try grabbing an edge and sliding it over to see if it reveals something.

Basically, though, I've never seen that. It's there, it's probably behind something. You can also use the option to reset the gui and start again if you get frustrated.

The search pane, or rather the area it appears on, is 'special '. It simply has to be open. At some point Quade might revisit, but it is what it is. It's not responsible for your missing panes.

I'd suggest reseting the display with Option menu "Reset Display Layout on Restart". Then opening all the windows you want to open after you restart. Then lay the windows out the way you want.
