Is a single RAR not a file?

I recently downloaded a rather large post of 43 GB, consisting of 430 RAR's. I didn't want newsbin to unpack this, as I wanted to unpack it later on, on an external drive.
After downloading, the post needed some repair, witch task newsbin did, and it moved on to the next post.
Then I decided the repaired post no longer needed to be in the download list, so I selected it and hit the delete button. I got the question if all incomplete files had to be removed and I clicked YES, thinking newsbin was going to delete the remains of the files that were repaired.
And then newsbin deleted ALL the files! 43 GB down the drain!
NOW I understand newsbin considers the whole post as a file, not every single RAR, but still I think that is wrong. A complete RAR is a complete file, no matter what.

p.s. I am using 6.21

All I can say is "when in doubt, say no". You can ask Newsbin to delete to the recycle bin too but, 43 gigs might be too big to fit. You can also tell it where to unrar while it's downloading. In the right click menu so, you could have told it to unrar to your external disk.

Sorry you lost your files but, I'm not sure how I can make it any clearer. When you delete from the download list and say "yes" to the prompt. It deletes all the files that haven't been unrared.

Well, the least you can do is not making the yes-button the default.

Let me check. I agree yes shouldn't be the default.
