Reload button bug

I just upgraded from 5.59 to 6.21 build 1534 (both 64 bit) yesterday. I keep encountering a problem when I hit the reload button: The setting of a 30 to 0 day range doesn't "stick" and keeps getting changed to 0 to the number of days since January 1, 1970. For example, at the moment it says from 0 days old to 15329 days old. If I don't notice this and hit OK or the enter key, Newsbin Pro tries to load a ton of old headers. It seems like some actions I take between reloads (searching, sorting, filtering, downloading, etc.) is messing this up.

My Display Age in settings in 30. Incidentally, I would love to have an option for a single-click reload which just uses this number and doesn't present a dialog. It would save me a ton of extra clicks.

You see the thing labeled "Display Age"? Try dropping it down and selecting "Display Age". You might need to select this month and then "display age" to toggle back and forth.

That 1500 day thing is odd. I wonder if it's because of the transition between 5.X and 6? How about opening the options, verifying the display age, closing the options and then restarting Newsbin and see if that fixes it.

Thanks for the reply.

My Display Age in Options, Options, Setup is 30. I tried changing it temporarily to 40, clicking OK, changing it back to 30, and closing and restarting Newsbin. Unfortunately, it did not work.

I can reliably reproduce the problem as follows:

1. Pick a group from the Groups List and select Show Posts.
2. Click the Reload button.
3. Enter a Day Range from 30 Days Old to 0 Days Old and click OK.
4. Click the Reload button again. At this point, it's fine. It stays at 30-0
5. Close the Group, go back to the Groups List, and Show Posts from another group.
At this point, it's messed up. The Day Range is From 0 Days Old to 15329 Days Old. (This happens to be the number of days since January 1, 1970. It's how some systems represent dates internally.)

Yeah, I see what you're saying. Thanks.

You can also use the reload drop down to show "display age" too.
