Hi
I have windows 7 64 bit, using only Astraweb with SSL with 10 connections.
If I download a file over roughly 1 gb some of the files being downloaded are idle, which is fine as they eventually download but some of the files are paused and do not download unless I select them and click resume download button. I have tryed uninstalling completely and reinstalling with default settings and setting up from scratch. Scedueling is not activated in options either and allways running full speed. Can anybody help please?
Thanks

How new are the files? Are you using headers or NZB files?

Im using nzb files that are all different ages but less than a few weeks old in most cases and the pausing still occurs

The pars should mostly be paused during download. The rars should unpause after the first par downloads. I'm still not clear what you're seeing though.

So the pars are supposed to pause during download. Could yoy explain why this happens please. Am I right in saying the pars are used to repair an uncomplete rar file? Thanks

Correct, and Newsbin will only download as many pars as it needs to repair a file. If you just ignore it, it's best, since as a rule most good downloads just run and clear through, repairs or not. You don't need to micromanage it.
