Can't Download After Password Change

Evening All

I've just changed my password in my Easynews account and after changing the NewsBin password in Options>Servers as well, I can no longer get a download to run. It keeps coming back with...

[22:35:34] ERROR NNTPSocket - NNTP Perform Auth - secure.news.eu.easynews.com-The server rejected your login - contact your news service's support department. It's not a Problem with Newsbin : 502 Your account or IP is locked out.

I know I've given NewsBin the right password and nothing else has changed.

Any help much appreciated

As the message says, it's not a Newsbin problem, there's nothing that can be done that end apart from enter the correct information. It's almost certainly a typo your end. I'd get in contact with easynews about this, make sure the account, password and server name is correct.

Sounds like you need to contact them. I might try the old password and see if it still works.

I've got exactly the same problem here. Changed my server password today, changed it in Newsbin, restarted Newsbin but no lock. Tried again with another change of the password on the newsserver and still the same error message:

Have you done what it suggested? That message is coming right from the server.
