V6B1342 - Error 10054

Hey All, I've been struggling for the past few days with all my downloads. I've scoured the board for insight and have tried everything I could to fix it. Below is the errors I recieve most of the time. I haven't been able to download since I installed a new Router (D-Link DIR-827 Media Router). Not sure why that would impact my downloads since my PC is (and always has been) connected directly to my 2Wire DSL modem. Oh, and switching back to my old Linksys router is not an option!

I'm running Win7, 64bit and have SSL enabled. I would appreciate any insights you all might have

[15:40:48] ERROR Socket - Error: WSARecv Socket Error Code: 10054 An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
[15:45:24] ERROR Socket - Error: WSARecv Socket Error Code: 10060 A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
[15:45:24] ERROR NNTPSocket - Server:news.giganews.com NNTPServer: Timeout - Waiting for Server to send Data: Socket - Read or Write Timeout
[15:45:40] ERROR Socket - Error: WSARecv Socket Error Code: 10054 An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
[15:46:03] ERROR Socket - Error: WSARecv Socket Error Code: 10054 An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
