Hi
The speed meter is inaccurate, occasionally it shows that I am downloading at 8 megabytes a second or some other very high number when my connections actual maximum is 800 kilobytes.
Thanks.

Header downloads are typically compressed so, you can get up to 10 times your line rate. I get 500 Mbps header downloads from Giganews for example.

If you have your Newsbin key entered into your forum profile then you should be able to see (and get to) the Newsbin 6 beta area of the forum. New public beta releases are always first announced there and it is the best place to ask questions and/or provide feeback for beta releases. Also, not all public beta releases get put into the MOTD - only the ones that Dexter wants to bring to everyone's attention.

I never knew I had that option. Ok, I did that, but I cannot see any additional forums, including any beta forums. I tried googling it, and it gave me
viewforum.php?f=44 but I cannot access it .
