Error Code: 10061 No connection

Hi guys

Nb was running fine yesterday, loaded it today and its not downloading. I have looked at the nb file to see if the server address is right and it is. This is the error I'm receiving.

[13:12:28] ERROR InterSocket - Error: Connection Failed, Host: ssl.hitnews.eu Error Code: 10061 No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

Running 32bit vista v6.11 build 1342

That error indicates that Newsbin tried to connect and the remote end refused the connection. That suggests a mismatch in settings between your end and the remote end. Since you are trying to connect to a SSL server have you checked the server settings to make sure that SSL is selected, and the port is a valid port for using SSL with the server in question.

Of course it could simply be that there is an issue at the server end, and if so it will hopefully clear itself shortly.
