Short Filename Mode Doesn't Work On Multiple Part Files

When I have short filename mode turned on so that the files get the subject prepended to the filename, if it's a multiple part file (like a rar) it won't get assembled correctly because the subject lines tend to be subject_[1/10], subject_[2/10], etc. Is it possible for the program to be more intelligent with multi-part files and just rename them based on the *first* subject line encountered in that set? I'm currently using build 1019.

Has this been fixed by 6.11? I just updated today. I'll give it a try next time I see something in multiple parts with a small filename, but I'm bothered that nobody's responded to this.

Edit: It seems that there are many multi-part downloads that have the same subject line for each, the problem still lies with things like this though:
Lawnmower [1/3] - "LM.part01.rar"
Lawnmower [2/3] - "LM.part02.rar"
Lawnmower [3/3] - "LM.part03.rar"

If the "rename on short filename" action is triggered, then the three different parts can't be automatically unrared due to having completely different prefixes. And if there's a 40-part rar, for instance, it's a real hassle to rename each file.

I'd try it and let me know. It's not a mode I use. If you have PAR files, they should rename the files to the real filename anyway.

Admittedly, this issue seems to be rarer than I thought. I've only had it happen about 15 times since I started using Newsbin Pro. I like the auto-renaming feature because some groups have rather unimaginative filenames sometimes (maybe even just numbers!) with the only useful info being in the header.

Many times the filenames are fake on purpose. They expect the PAR files to force a rename to the real name. Newsbin will rename the file if there are par files. For example there's this one group that names all the RAR files "JP" (...part01.jpg). Newsbin properly renames these files to the real name from the PAR file.

Ah, I see. Well, in any case, it just happened again finally. And it seems par2 files don't even download in these cases, it just does the file parts.
