Select Drag with CTRL Broken in RC 6.10

Postby Bismark » Thu Sep 01, 2011 8:55 pm

Select drag in the messages window broke in 6.01B6 and is still broken in RC 6.10. If you select a few messages hold down the crtl button and select more messages not contiguous with the first selection it treats it as if you were selecting with the shift key selected and selects all the messages between the first selection and the new selection. It works properly in 6.10B5. This is a rather important problem as one would like to select some messages from a few places at one time and the either download them or delete them.

And by the way, it does something different in the files menu.

Looks like it got lost when Quade made changes for rubber band select. Not sure he has much control over it. I've noted it.

It does work correctly if you do a ctrl-click but don't drag.

Yep.

Also, could this work the same in the file and download windows?

If it gets addressed, it'll most likely apply to all the tabs. I'm not sure he has direct control over this behavior, it takes some fiddling to get it to work.
