On my 19" display, if the Current Progress bar is less than 3" long then missing data that would be shown by a thin black bar cannot be seen. Thus the bar appears green all over and the download does not complete. If the bar is expanded the black bar will appear.

What are you suggesting? The progress bar has no impact on whether the file completes or not.
You want some other visual indicator that the file is incomplete?

Quade,
No I'm not suggesting that but just curious that any black missing data lines disappear if the progress bar (on my screen) is shorter than 3". Anyone looking at the solid green bar would think that the download had completed but was "stuck".
Now I know to expand the bar and I can see missing data.

It's just a matter of the pixels getting too small. It's probably a function of how many chunks the files have. If you have a file with 20 chunks then the resize of the progress bar probably will always show the black box. When you have 100-200 or more chunks, you run out of pixels more easily.
It might be possible to emphasize the black bars. That's why I was asking. Maybe I make the black bars appear wider than they do in reality.

Yes that would be a good solution.
