Exclude specific files?

Hello,

I'm running v6 1019, I'm curious if it's possible to auto-exclude specific files?
ie - if i'm downloading a video, and the nzb includes a 'sample' of it (for quality assurance, etc...), is there any way that I can automatically exclude those files (or any file(s) with specific wording) ?

Any insight would be appreciated!

Thanks!

If you want to block all "Samples" you could enter "sample" in the "Filename Reject" filter of the global filters. "Sample" is all you're need. It'll match no matter where it appears in the filename. "Global" always applies. You can also make group specific filters to filter specific things in specific groups.

You can bypass the filter by adding the file with "Ctrl-Y". Say you really want to see one sample.

Can't. Give me some context, why would I want to exclude a group?

If you're talking about I-search, you can filter IN the groups you want to look into. You can't filter out groups though.

for example I don't want german files and notice the internet filter will return files from the group tv.deutsch . I did add the word "deutsch" to a filter but it didn't exlude it.

The same file might be crossposted to 5 different groups so, filtering one group probably won't help much.

You can enter "-german" when you search to block results with "german" in the subject.

I'd suggest finding which groups have the content you like, subscribing to these groups in Newsbin then before searching, selecting the group category the groups are in so, Newsbin only looks in these groups for search.

You can generate multiple folders of groups in the group list and pick from these folders to narrow down your searching.
