If I hit Cntrl-T in groups to set it to show the last update to the group by D:H:M, can I have the Posts tabs show the date by the DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM format? It seems if I try that, it changes the group to what I have the Posts tab set for...

There is only one date display setting that everything uses. As for splitting them out so, they're unique. It's not impossible. I have to think about it.

I would also request being able to have the last updated date in the group list be in the age format (dd: hh: mm) while having the post date be the standard date format (selectable). You were able to do this in V5. In fact changing the setting in Options->Advanced did not affect the date displayed in the Groups List. I find it most convenient when looking at the group list to see how long it has been since I downloaded the latest headers, but in the posts seeing when something was actually posted. It is less user friendly having to look at a date and compute in your head how long its been. This was either a bug or feature in V5

I like to second Reis on the date format. Under Group list, I too like to see the number of days since last updated, rather than doing the computation myself. However, I like to continue to see the actual dates for headers within each group. That setup was in V5, not sure the reason it's not part of V6.
