Installing V6 "final" from beta sect results no config

After installing the V6 final from the beta section choosing update, upon running it says: "Configuration File not found, defaulting to the install default Configuration" It then loses all settings (aside from my registration information thankfully)

this is despite there being some 47.1GB of data in the appdata\local\newsbin folder including a NewsBin.nbi file.... it still showed the correct failed files, and downloaded files however ALL groups are gone, all server settings, etc.

Anyone know if there Is there an easy fix for this? I've already verified that the local\newsbin folder is not read only and given all users full control (windows 7 64 bit) when I click on open data folder inside of newsbin it opens the correct folder (with the NewsBin.nbi file that it seems to be ignoring in it)

(for obvious reasons I'd prefer not to have to redo all the group adding and redownload the gigs of headers.)

To answer my own question, run the install from the "if that link doesn't work click here" link and choosing to not reset the UI brings everything back.

rreally odd, but as long as it's working I'm happy :)

Yeah, it is odd. Sounds like it couldn't find the .nbi configuration file for some reason. What version did you origionally upgrade from? If it was an early V6 beta I did make some changes that may not be compatible with the latest.

It was upgraded from either the last beta or looking at the release dates, possibly the one before the last beta, 1012.
