I have two issues:

1. On the server tab have the options 'enable server', 'requires login' and 'use ssl+encrypted connections' a horizontal line through the characters. Everything functions correctly, but I don't understand why this is the case.

2. I have installed Newsbin on 2 pc's, but the download speed is faster on one pc.

1 - me either. Seems like some themes get that line.

2 - What's different about the PC's?

The fast pc has windows server 2003 and the slower win 7 SP1 installed. The strange thing is that with version 5 it was the other way around. The hard disc of the fast pc is slower.
Both are connected to the same router.

Things have changed a fair bit, so the reverse behaviour isn't necessarily a shocker, plus what you're downloading makes a big difference. For example, one or two part files like pics are phenomenally faster for me compared to v5. The IO process has been re-jigged so getting different results on different systems is expected. Throw in a different OS and other different hardware, all bets are off.
