stopping downloads

I've accidentally clicked on 'download all headers' for a very large group, that I want to stop. If I click on 'remove remove from download list' (delete) the group stops downloading headers - but as soon as Newsbin is fired up again, it merrily re-appears, and starts chugging headers down again. How can I stop this for all time?

Delete it from the download list. Then right click the group and pick "Post Storage/Use Download Age". Then in the options set a shortish "Download age". Then download headers. It should obey the "Download Age" setting.
When you select "Download all Headers" it erases the existing headers. Just keep that in mind.
