speed limiter

I've used the speed limiter for some time now, but for some reason in recent versions the button releases itself after a few seconds or minutes (seems random). I've tried using the button on the bottom task bar, the icon in the toolbar and the drop down menu. All react in the same way. Any ideas?

You probably turned on the scheduler which allows automatic control of the pause and speed limit times. You ought to be able to look in the options and disable it.
