Search function not returning proper results

I used the Search function, internet and subject field search, on the keyword UDCD. For many of the returned values, the search function only returned the conglomerated PAR files and none of the other files (FLACs) that also had UDCD in the subject field. I verified that this by downloading the headers in the particular newsgroup (a.b.sounds.lossless.1990s).

Here is what the search function returned, sorted by date:

I included the headers that appeared immediately before and immediately after in both instances. So, why am I not seeing the FLAC files returned in the search function?

I'll have to get Dex to look into it. I agree they seem to be missing.

I was kind of hoping that I was doing something wrong, that would have been the easiest fix. I did try doing the same search with the search engine pointing to LOCAL, and all of the files showed up in the search window. Apparently it has something to do with indexed headers from the internet.

It's data on the old search engine from 3 years ago. I'm going to guess either we weren't cataloging the group back then or there was some problem that hit those files.

Dex is out of town so, I'm not sure when he'll get a chance to fix it. Since you downloaded headers, local search is looking through the headers you downloaded so, searching or loading the entire group up is pretty much the same thing.
