Newsbin 6.55 very slow dowload images

Hi all, i Have a core duo 2,8Ghz with 4 Gb ram and sata HDD. I have 20Mbit ADSL
I queue 20000 images file, it start at 15-16Mbit, in few minutes it goes down to 170-200Kbit. HDD looks working alot.

I disable thumbnails and IMG database.

What shall I do it's really a mess...

Look down at the bottom where it says "cache". "Cache X/Y" for example. Do you see the X number going to zero?

Are you downloading to a folder that already has a bunch of images in it?

found solution on other forum, i moved newsbin data directory to another HDD.

Now works fine!

Again problem, cache is always near 1.. :(

When cache is higher value works fine

Yeah, If the cache is low, it means Newsbin is downloading faster than the files can be saved on disk.

As I said in my first post, are you downloading to a folder that already has a bunch of files in it? Basically your disk is running slow for some reason.
