All posts I select for downloading are marked as Duplicates

All posts I select for downloading are marked as Duplicates and sent to the failed list.
Started in 653rc4 and still in 653f.

No, these are new posts and I'm selecting posts to download that I haven't already downloaded before. I tested this by downloading something I would not normally have done. It seems I can pick any post in any group but they all get rejected as duplicates. I've looked at the newsbin folders to make sure they are not corrupt or read only but I don't know what else to do. Is there a way to fix the duplicate file / database or should I delete it ? What other info might you require and I'll see if I can get it. Thanks

There's no real fixing if that's the problem.

I'd exit Newsbin, move it out of the data folder, then restart and see if the symptoms change.

Signature.db3 contains the duplicate data.

Well moving the file and its related journal file sorted the duplicate issue, seemingly without any detrimental effect other than not remembering my previous downloads but I easily live with that. One thing I will mention and it seems obvious thinking about it but newsbin does seem to run quicker. Can you purge the database to a certain age to perhaps stop the file from getting too big or have it rollover monthly like in an option ? This might not suit everyone but it might be a useful addition.
