Where Did The Original Files Go?

Hi,

I'm new, and this is my first post. I apologise if this has been asked before.

I have version 6.42.

The issue seems to be that downloaded files are deleted if they cannot be un-rar'd. Is there a place where it stores these temporary files so that I can attempt to manually extract the archive? They were visible while they were downloading in the download directory, but now they have strangely disappeared.

I'd upgrade to 6.51.

What's the chance you ran out of disk space? If you run out of disk space in the middle of the unrar, this can happen. You can tell Newsbin to delete to the Recycle Bin. That might save then for the future.

Wow, thanks for the fast response.

I have about 54Gb free in the download directory, about 8Gb free in the primary drive. On your advice I've upgraded to 6.51. I'll try to redownload the file and report back if the problem continues.
