V6.50 can't find Spool_V1; NO conversion happening!

1) Assume nothing. SNAFU!
2) Successfully installed v6.50 as an upgrade to 5.59 after Win7 new install over XP. Spool_V1 was on NAS. Old NB config file buried in windows.old. Resurrected it to Users\Login\App_Data\Local\NB. Copied Spool_V1 folder from NAS to same folder as config file, replacing empty Spool_V1 folder. When NB came up, no old posts, no history, etc. but groups appeared.
3) Read up on Spool conversion for 6.5. However, Post Storage options only show Delete, Purge, Use DL Age & Compact DB.(Compact DB has 0 data). I don't get "Import Version 5.XX Headers"
3) Q1: How does it find Spool_V1? (i.e., what should config file show?). I can hand edit it if there are just a few lines missing/needed.
4) Q2: Is there a method or perhaps a standalone tool to do the conversion? I mean, you had had to have tested the conversion before integration, right?

5.59 is pretty old these days. Looks like about 3 years. More than likely I simply removed the conversion. 6.50 keeps headers in spool_v6.

I'm not sure how far back you have to go to find the import. You might try installing 6.42 and see if it has it. It's under "Post Storage".
