First time posting to newsgroup

I recently signed up for powerusenet as my previous provider didn't allow posting. After checking their site, I saw that they do allow posting.

I've tried posting as per instructions, yet when I see if my post appears nothing is there.

I didn't enter a real email address, and it appears this is the norm; is it possible my filters could be inadvertantly blocking my post from showing up; it should be noted, as far as I no I haven't created any filters. I've even tried replying to a post with the same nil results.

The 'how to post' help seems very straight forward. Kind of puzzled what I'm doing wrong and fairly convinced I'll kick myself when I find out what it is.

I was under the impression that Giganews required you to enable posting in the control panel. PU is giganews so, I wonder if they have the same requirement?

I'd not use a real email address. A real looking email address is all you need.

I'd look in the logging tab too.
