Where is Parm to Bypass Recycle Bin

Postby sb8301450 » Sat Nov 24, 2012 5:24 pm

I have looked and looked, and cannot for the life of me find the parameter to bypass the Recycle Bin when files are deleted in Newsbin.

I know I had it on once upon a time, and now I'd like to put it back on.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't think it uses the recycle bin at all by default. My plan is to add the option back in.

Hello,

Any update on adding back the setup option "When Deleting from AutoPAR tab, use Recycle Bin"?

TIA

...BUMP...

Sorry in advance for bugging, but I was really hoping to get the option back to permanently delete rars and pars after successful unrar.

Hmm what's changed is it shouldn't be using the recycle bin at all.

If you search the NBI (Configuration) file for "UseRecycle" (with wordpad), I'd suggesting deleting that entry, saving the NBI then starting Newsbin and see what happens.

Thanks, that worked! Setting UseRecycle=0 did the trick.
