Clear search and screen...

Postby mdelig00 » Mon Jan 07, 2013 7:20 pm

I remember seeing a way to clean search results from the screen. This would clean the search query field and all the search results from the previous search. Right now if I click on "clear the search entry" it just clears the field and not the search results. I could have sworn I read on the forum some where there is button or key function that does this. Anyone know what it is?

Perhaps you are looking for the Clear List option available if you right click in the search tab?

No, that's not it. That just clears the input field. I thought there was a button or key stroke that would clear everything, including the last search results that are just sitting there.

Right click of an item then "clear list" will clear the results out of the listing.

I get the spirit of the question which seems to be "is there a clear everything" button. The answer is, I don't believe there is.
