Need some tips on filtering

Postby bennetjw2 » Thu Oct 25, 2012 1:57 pm

I am a longtime user. Newsbin has worked well for a long time. Recently, I have become frustrated with the amount of garbage in the headers. I would like to filter out any locked out posters and incomplete posts. I could really use some examples of what people are using to separate the wheat from the chaff. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Not ignoring this, not sure exactly what to say. I typically use size filters.

You can add "Accept" filters to only accept things you want to see like "[.]jpg" or "[.]rar".

Basically "Accept" filters will only show things that match what you've entered. It's like a white list. Reject filters are a black list, they remove things you don't want to see.
