Does newsbin pro v6.34 have this search feature?

Postby dunnyrummys » Sun Aug 19, 2012 11:03 pm

First I want to thank all of those who have put their time and effort into authoring such a great program!
I wanted to know if Newsbin Pro has a certain beach when doing a search. I want to know that after I have downloaded headers from a group I can search for a poster using the search box as I would search for a subject. Having this ability was making finding topics very much easier and faster. If newsbin Pro does have this could someone please point me to the right path?

I also subscribe to newsbin search. When performing a search, can I search for the poster rather than the subject? Thank you in advance!

Sorry about cross-posting, I didn't know if I had the right forum help.

If you look at the search tab, you'll see "Subject Field" in a dropdown. If you set it to "from" you can search for the from field, local or internet.

In 6.40 you can have multiple search tabs open and you can right click a group or group of groups (GOG) and select "Search in Groups" to just search in these selected groups. It works internet or local, as long as you've already download headers (for local).
