Copy after UNRaR

Postby mamoth@gmail.com » Sat Jun 16, 2012 11:28 pm

I generally do a download to my NAS. However, this method makes the UNRaR take an extended period of time.

So I was wondering if I downloaded to my location machine, UNRaR'd there, and then copied the files to the NAS after all that was done.

Is there a way in Newsbin to do this all automatically?

Thanks!

Yes, there is a settings in options to override the unrar path specifically for this purpose. Not near newsbin atm but either under autopar or files I believe.

How about downloading local and unraring to the NAS? Unraring to the NAS should be about as fast as copying the files to it after the unrar. In the autopar options, you can spec a path to unrar to.
