Filtering out dirty rotten spammers

Postby burp » Sun May 20, 2012 2:20 am

It was a relief to see that i can "delete all headers from poster xxx" in 6.32

but there are poster suckers who use multiple nicks (not the subject line!) like:
"nude at the beach...."
"young beach nudes..."
"beach voyeur..."

it would be great if i could "delete all headers from posters with a ?beach? in the nick" (beach is just an example - wildcards)

Maybe even delete headers from those posters already during header-download? ....i remember reading such an announcement from you
last year?

Or if possible, prevent these things from happening would be better.

I'd have to add this as an option. "Delete all Posters - keyword" or something like that. My only issue with a "delete poster during header download" is the same problem with "lockout poster". You end up with a huge list that slows all processing down. The posters come and go but, your filter list will slow header download forever. Not saying I won't do it, just that it's an issue whenever you have a constantly increasing list of filter items.
