Logging Limit & Write to Disk?

Postby ppan » Thu May 17, 2012 3:32 pm

Is there a limit on how many entries are saved in the log tab? It appears to be limited to about 4,000 entries and only the entries from the last few hours are shown.

IF it is limited, then maybe the workaround is to write the log to disk as described in the v6 online help (http://help.newsbin.com/index.php/Advanced_Controls)?
Is this registry key still correct for v6?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DJI Interprises\Newsbin50\Settings\LogFile

The log entries in Newsbin only shows the time, but not the date. When written to disk, will it also show the date?

1 - yes 4000

2 - LogFile.txt should already exist on the data folder. It gets over-written with each restart.

3 - Time only.
