problem downloading group list astraweb

Hi I just purchased version 6 and joined astraweb for my server i followed instructions on server input ect but it seems to only download 9 groups and thats it
cant figure out what im doing wrong could anyone help

What do you see in the logging tab? When you click the "Download groups list..." button in the group add dialog, you should see a job getting added to the download list. Then you should see the job download. If you don't see that, you probably need to look in the logging tab for errors.

What about the other thing I suggested? Did you see it try to download the group list?

In the network options, enable "Show Server Commands" and try again.

If it seems to be working, I'm wondering if the data folder is read-only.

I know what i did now i ticked the filter box for binaries what an idiot been a while since i used the newsgroups thanks for your help

Well, there should be a couple thousand binary groups.
