Cured stalling by switching from Astraweb to Newsdemon

This is with v6.30B2 build 1695.

I have for months had problems using Astraweb as the Master server and Giganews for fills. Many, many downloads would not complete, leaving NBP stalled. I have posted about this before.

==> My problem has evidently been solved by dropping Astraweb and switching to Newsdemon for the Master server (GN still as Fills). Many downloads that had been hung for weeks completed immediately, without the slew of error messages I am used to seeing.

I still think there could be an issue with NBP talking to Astraweb, because the same NZBs would often (but not always) download OK from Astraweb using Grabit.

Does Newsdemon compress their headers like Astraweb? I'm thinking about switching.
