Switching providers: Are existing headers wiped?

If I switch usenet providers do I have to start again from scratch and download all groups again or do the download continue from existing status? Thanks

You can use the same headers. It'll download like a new server so, set the "Download age" to something reasonable. Maybe 5 days or however many days it's been since the last time you downloaded headers.

IF you're trying to get all the headers for the group AND you don't already have them, you'll have to download them all. If you just want the number of header to grow from now, you don't need to re-download. You can mix and match to. "All" for some groups and "Latest" for others.
