Upper Pane Gone

Postby tombew » Thu Oct 13, 2011 6:14 pm

v6.11
now all tabs are in 1 pane at the bottom
how do I get Upper (Upper Left?) pane back with 3 specific tabs?
Is there a "reset to default" command?

I have spent considerable time trying to find a "configuration" guide to the interface, without success. If this exists, I'd appreciate a pointer to it, since I have had multiple interface configuration "issues".

Well, the only thing you need to remember is "tear off at the tabs". Then when the locator boxes appear, you can drop the tabs on the locator's. There is no "Upper panes" any more. There are no panes to speak off. You make an upper pane when you initially drop a tab on the locator box at the top section of the window.

If you exit Newsbin, delete the "Workspace.xml" from the data folder and restart, it'll reset the display. I was just adding a "Reset to default" feature to 6.2 today.
