Do V5 & V6 Computer File Sizes Differently?

Postby MichaelW_ » Tue Jul 12, 2011 3:32 am

File sizes seems to be different on V5 and V6, and I am wondering if V5 and V6 computer them differently (Like MacOS 10.6+ thinks 1MB is 1,000,000 and Windows thinks 1MB is 1,048,576)

Version 6 probably includes the pars in the calculation, even if it doesn't download them. It's not clear to me what and where you're talking about.

For example, a particular file shows 374MB as download size in v5 and shows as 405 in v6. But now that you mention it, I think you are right that the pars are part of it now.
