If it only works on subject lines, add the size to the subject line.
Great Series Number One [1/24] File.nfo (1/1)
Great Series Number One [2/24] File.part001.rar (1/126)
REQ: CRAPPY FILE I NEED IT NOW PLEEEZE
Great Series Number One [3/24] File.part002.rar (1/126)
.....
Great Series Number One [23/24] File.part024.rar (1/4)
Make $6,000 from $6! Guaranteed to work!
Great Series Number One [24/24] File.part001.par (1/1)
If the file is over [filtersize], add a little-used character to the subject line, say Ψ.
Great Series Number One [1/24] File.nfo (1/1)
Great Series Number One [2/24] File.part001.rar (1/126) Ψ
REQ: CRAPPY FILE I NEED IT NOW PLEEEZE
Great Series Number One [3/24] File.part002.rar (1/126) Ψ
.....
Great Series Number One [23/24] File.part024.rar (1/4)
Make $6,000 from $6! Guaranteed to work!
Great Series Number One [24/24] File.part001.par (1/1)
Create custom filters internally by looking at the lines with the Bigfile mark- in this case, "Great Series Number One". Add that mark to any more matching files.
Great Series Number One [1/24] File.nfo (1/1) Ψ
Great Series Number One [2/24] File.part001.rar (1/126) Ψ
REQ: CRAPPY FILE I NEED IT NOW PLEEEZE
Great Series Number One [3/24] File.part002.rar (1/126) Ψ
.....
Great Series Number One [23/24] File.part024.rar (1/4) Ψ
Make $6,000 from $6! Guaranteed to work!
Great Series Number One [24/24] File.part001.par (1/1) Ψ
Now just show the marked files:
Great Series Number One [1/24] File.nfo (1/1) Ψ
Great Series Number One [2/24] File.part001.rar (1/126) Ψ
Great Series Number One [3/24] File.part002.rar (1/126) Ψ
.....
Great Series Number One [23/24] File.part024.rar (1/4) Ψ
Great Series Number One [24/24] File.part001.par (1/1) Ψ
I don't know a thing about programming, so you can ignore me now. Kegger can figure out the rest. Wait- reverse engineering is illegal, right? You'd have to put a proxy between NB and the server to change the subject lines, that'd be ...
I'm thinking way to hard about this. I'll just say it wouldn't be impossible, just impractical.
