Power use net down??

Hi Guy's any one on power usenet i had intermittent problems connecting getting a 11002 error on news bin but now i am getting it all the time. Tried their website and could not get it on either. Anyone else know of the problem. I was thinking may have been due to Sandy but no info available on the net about outages. An Image link not allowed for unregistered users y help would be appreciated.

Suggests a DNS problem. I might try cutting you connections down and see if anything changes.

I think i'm in trouble seems my isp has blocked the dns to the news server i can get website up on the phone. Is there a way round this or am i screwed. TIA Newsbin and my browser won't connect.

Set your DNS server to 8.8.8.8 which is google's DNS and see what happens.

You can also use the IP address instead of the domain name.

nslookup news.powerusenet.com

nslookup
>server 8.8.8.8
>news.powerusenet.com
bla bla

Might work too.

Thanks guys that sorted it. Isp are getting crafty blocking websites.
